How To Apply Patch with Single Command on Linux

suppose you are to apply patch 1234567 and it is unzipped in /opt/patches

Note:- Change the workers according to your requirements

Set apps environment

Enable Maintenance Mode


adadmin defaultsfile=$APPL_TOP/admin/$TWO_TASK/adalldefaults.txt logfile=adadmin.log menu_option=ENABLE_MAINT_MODE workers=8               

Set PATCH_TOP 


export PATCH_TOP=/opt/patches

Apply Patch



adpatch defaultsfile=$APPL_TOP/admin/$TWO_TASK/adalldefaults.txt logfile=u1234567.log patchtop=$PATCH_TOP/1234567 driver=u1234567.drv workers=8

Disable Maintenance Mode



adadmin defaultsfile=$APPL_TOP/admin/$TWO_TASK/adalldefaults.txt logfile=adadmin.log menu_option=DISABLE_MAINT_MODE workers=8
