Dear All,
In this post i am going to share step by step lab how to apply Latest RU patch on Oracle 19C Database .
Lab Environment : Database Version > 19.3.0.0
OS : OEL 7
Download latest RU patches from Support.
https://support.oracle.com/support/?page=sptemplate&sptemplate=cp-patches-updates-view-more&cp-patches-updates-view-more=cp-patches-details
enter the patch number and platform details click on Apply
Click on the patch number and download
download the pre-requisite for this 19.32 patch was 6880880 latest 12.****.1.53
Copy the patch to server and unzip it .

stop the database services and set the path ..
Note : take backup of all important files and home .
Before patch versions :
check the database status and stop the database
SQL> select count(*) from dba_objects where status='INVALID';
COUNT(*)
----------
0
[oracle@dbnode1 OPatch]$ srvctl stop database -d prod
[oracle@dbnode1 OPatch]$ srvctl status database -d prod
Instance prod1 is not running on node dbnode1
Instance prod2 is not running on node dbnode2
Verifying environment and performing prerequisite checks...
OPatch continues with these patches: 39472050

y

Please shutdown Oracle instances running out of this ORACLE_HOME on the local system.

Once the patch applied successfully start the database services :
post patch invalid object count
SQL> alter session set container=PDB;
Session altered.
SQL> select count(*) from dba_objects where status='INVALID';
COUNT(*)
----------
0
run the datapatch verbose
