Hi All,
In this post i am going to show you how to download and apply latest Oracle 19C Oct-2026 RU patch on Oracle linux X86-64 bit system .
step 1 : connect to Sign in options support.oracle.com
click on patches >> enter the patch number and select OS click on apply ...
Click on the patch number
here i am going to show you RDBMS patch not Grid one ..
click on the download option
select the patch and that will downloaded ..
post download the patch copy to the server and unzip the patch ,
pre-requisites >>> take the backup of oracle home and important files , take invalid count etc ..
start apply the patch from here >>>>
Note : patch readme url

stop the database listener and database services .
we need to check the opatch version and update as per the readme suggestion .
opatch version :
then start apply the RU patch ..
QL> select count(*) from dba_objects where status='INVALID';
COUNT(*)
----------
0
post apply the RU patch >>> start the services and take invalid count .
make sure PDB is read write mode and then run datapatch -verbose ..
SQL> select count(*) from dba_objects where status='INVALID';
COUNT(*)
----------
0
